
What Does My Ultrasound Scan Test Result Indicate?

Ultra sound scanning of my abdomen shows that there is mildly prominent (L) pelvis. It further revealed that however ureter (L) could not be traced . Liver 14 cm.in size and US shows that diffusion increase parenchymal echogenosity . I feel slight pain occasionally in left side of the abdomen and the back at left also. Anything serious found?

Fatty liver is a reversible condition.
Go for exercise and brisk walk regularly.Avoid red meat and high fat milk products.
Don't take much non-veg food.
You may also need lipid profile and random blood sugar estimation.
You may need few medicines after blood tests.
Mildly prominent left kidney pelvis may be due to many causes.
It may be due to obstruction.This need further evaluation.
You are rightly suggested for KUB X-ray.
You may also need IVP(intravenous pyelography)after evaluation.
In short,findings are usually not very serious.This is generally a manageable condition.
