Also Since I will be going in my second trimester the doctor has suggested to do a colour marker test to rule out any genetic abnormality. We both parents are healthy then why this test.Hope everything is in the normal range.Really anxious. Is it onlky for people who have conceived through IUI or normal. Is my nucheal transluency within normal range .Please help.I did take siphene .Hope that was safe.

Also does lifting heavy objects cause miscarriage.

Brief Answer:
Nuchal translucency is normal.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
Nuchal translucency is a collection of fluid under the skin at the back of your baby's neck. It is routinely measured during ultrasound between 11 to 14 weeks.
This can be increased in baby's with Down's syndrome or other chromosomal anomalies. This i snot related to IUI or using Siphene. It is more commonly performed if mother's age is more than 30 years.
An NT of less than 3.5mm is considered normal when your baby measures between 45mm (1.8in) and 84mm (3.3in)
In your baby's case it is normal. So you need not worry but do get a color marker test done to rule out any chromosomal anomaly.
Lifting heavy objects should be avoided as it can cause mild bleeding.
According to your LMP you have completed your first trimester on 15th April and your expected date of delivery will be 29th October 2016.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.

Thanks for your reply maam.in my case crown rump length is 53.2 mm so i guess nuchal transluency of 2.5 mm is normal.Anyways i have got the blood test done today .now anxiously waiting for the reports. Will update you once i get the reports.

Also i have been using Susten 300 intravaginally which da doctor says to continue till 28th April and then it will be replaced with iron and calcium tab.hope discontinuing Susten would not cause any problem .

Stressed out a little as have conceived through IUI.

Also in my prescription it is written Fol 1,2,3 once a day .the medicine which i take is folvite 0 .5 mg.is ut correct

I took folvite .5 mg instead of fol 123 for 20 days.hope that would not cause any problem to the baby maam.kindly reply asap.i have though from today started taking fol 1,2,3 from second trimester.hope dats ok

Brief Answer:
You can continue susten.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
The nuchal translucency is normal. The reports are likely to be normal.
You can continue with susten as your doctor has suggested. It will not cause any problem. Folvite is necessary to prevent neural tube defect. You can take Fol 123 or folvite. It will not cause any problem.
Hope my answer is helpful.

Brief Answer:
Details below.

Detailed Answer:
It is OK to take Fol 123 with Ecosprin at night.
You can add roohafza to the milk as per your taste. It has only small quantity of pineapple juice in it which is insignificant.
Right now you may not feel anything. But you will start feeling the baby movements after 18 weeks.

Brief Answer:
Fol 123 is taken orally.

Detailed Answer:
Fol 123 is to be taken orally.
Avoid having brinjal or kathal. These can trigger pain abdomen sometimes.
The mild intermittent pains can be uterine contractions. These usually subside with rest.
You can have tea sometimes.
If the loose motions are continuous or persistent then it is worrisome.
It is your discretion as to when to disclose about pregnancy to your friends.
