Advanced osteoarthritis.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
I have seen the attached reports, The X-ray is suggestive of advanced osteroarthritis more in right knee.
The treatment options include pain killers, hot fomentation, lubricating agents like glucosamine sulfate, chondroitin , dycerin, etc and some life style modifications and physiotherapy.
Knee brace can also be used for an earlier and prolonged relief.
In severe cases intra articular injections of steroids and hyaluronic acid may be needed after consultation with your orthopaedician.
If there is no relief with conservative treatment then a knee replacement may have to be considered.
I hope this answers your query.
In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.
Wishing you good health.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
If she has only a mild pain then it can be managed with the help of medicines. Glucosamine, chondroitin and dycerin are all oral capsules to be consumed daily.
Steroid injections reduce the knee swelling and inflammation. Hyaluronic acid is a joint lubricant that helps in a prolonged relief.
Cost wise hyaluronic acid is costlier but the pain relief provided stays for 3-4 months. The effect of steroids stays for 6-8 weeks.
Injectables are given according to the symptoms and response to medicines. You need to consult an orthopedician for a clinical evaluation to decide the best treatment for her.
Hope my answer is helpful.
