Brief Answer:
You are out of danger for HIV 1 serotype

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX, wish you a best health at health care magic, I am Dr. Arun Tank I am infectious disease specialist I am going to going to solve your querry, hope I can able to answer your query.

-First of all I want to make you tension free that you are out of danger. You have wear a condom that reduce your risk of getting HIV. I think condom had covered whole of your penile mucosa that protect you from getting HIV.

-If you had sex with professional worker, I advice you to contact that sex worker and get her tested. If she is not infected than there is no chance that you got HIV.

-Though you have carried out HIV antibody test at 6,8 &10 weeks it hardly gives reactive result in this much short duration of time only test gives the earliest diagnosis is P24 Antigen assay & HIV DNA PCR assay.

-Your HIV 1 DNA PCR is non reactive that is great news, so you are almost out of danger for HIV 1. But You have not mentioned your HIV 2 Result. HIV 1 & HIV 2 are two different serotypes of HIV virus. I would like to know about the HIV 2 serotype result.

-At 9 weeks HIV DNA PCR gives you confirm diagnosis about HIV so you are out of danger except HIV 2 serotype which you have not mentioned. Though HIV 2 are present in very minority of patients I am eager to know your HIV 2 result.

I hope I am able to answer your query. If you have anything else to ask kindly contact me. If you are satisfied with the answer kindly close the question and rate my answer.
Thank you for your contact to healthcare, we wish you a best health.

Brief Answer:
HIV2 serotypes are very rare in Asian subcontinent

Detailed Answer:
-Antibody production in initial period is minimal, so it is not detected by the ELISA testing whichever the ELISA third or Fourth generation in initial period. It is usually detected after approximately 6 month period.

-HIV 2 serotypes are very rare in XXXXXXX continent I had seen only 1 case in my four years of career. Theoretically HIV 2 serotypes found mostly in XXXXXXX France and some Portugal areas. So chances with you having HIV 2 is very minimal I can say.

-But as Dubai is a favorite place for tourist many XXXXXXX people also may visit the Dubai. Chances of sex worker infected with the type 2 serotypes is not neglected.

- HIV 2 PCR is even not carried out in our area, but big labs in our area collect and sent samples to the higher laboratory to get tested. They take some time to give results. You can go in that way.

I will be happy to answer if you still have some querry.

Brief Answer:
Go for P24 antigen assay test

Detailed Answer:
If HIV 2 PCR not available in your area I suggest you to go with P24 antigen assay. This is widely available test, also you have cleared 9 weeks (you have cleared cut of period for P24 antigen assay).

If you have any query I will be happy to answer

Brief Answer:
You are Free Fom HIV Risk

Detailed Answer:
Hello, nice to see you again.

-When we test HIV by ELISA we use lysed HIV virus particle to detect antibody against them. In third generation ELISA we used a ultra filter particle. While in 4th generation ELISA it is synthetic peptides which is even more pure than 3rd generation particle.

-You are clear for both now. You are free from danger of HIV. You can move around without tension and can live normal life.

-ELISA is one of the type of EIA; In XXXXXXX we usually using 3rd generation kits, But some laboratory also using a 4th generation kits.

-There are many STD's people may get infected when they sexually exposed. e.g. Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Treponoma pallidum, gonorrhea. There is a wide list of organisms which cause STD but I think it is use less to get tested for all. If you want to get tested I suggest you to go for Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Treponema pallidum the tests are respectively HbsAg ELISA, HCV ELISA, VDRL/RPR.

If you have anything else to ask kindly contact me without hesitation.
