What Does Persistent Discomfort On The Right Side Of The Body Indicate?

Question: Persistent discomfort high on right side of body below and to the he right of breast. Gall bladder has been removed. Combination of feeling a bit like a pulled muscle and a burning sensation. Worse when in a seated position. Pain is around a 2 on the scale.

If the surgery was recent, the bay be done blood or fluid collection in the region of the gall bladder bed and diaphragm.

This causes irritation to the right shoulder and body region due to referred pain in common nerve supply.

Apply warm packs to the affected region. Take pain killers. Get an ultrasound abdomen to look for fluid collection.

Surgery was several years ago and I have no pain in my shoulder
