What Does "premature Ventrivular Contractions" Mean?

Question : Wore a heart monitor for a week. Doctor said everything is normal. Only thing it showed was an average number of Premature Ventrivular Contractions. He said they are benign. Should i be worried. Sometimes i do feel a couple here and there but with no symptoms other than making me very anxious. Should i be worried?

As long as the holter monitoring found only some premature ventricular beats than you have nothing to worry about. Ventricular premature beats are benign ventricular arrhythmia and doesn't require specific treatment.

Any idea why the PVC'S happen?Is it true most people have them but dont feel them?

There are many mechanisms for PVC. The most important of them is enhanced sympathetic system activity. This is why betablockers are of help in the treatment of PVC.

It's true that most of people doesn't feel the PVC.
