Brief Answer:
There is no cause for worry. Get your throat checked by a local doctor.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for writing back.

1. Blood tinged saliva is very common, especially after a cold or sore throat. It may also be due to dental (teeth and gum) problems, hence a dental check is recommended.

2. Dryness in the mouth and throat due to mouth breathing or snoring at night may be a cause.

3. Lymphoid hypertrophy, acid reflux in the throat can also be a cause. Get a check-up done.

4. Vitamin C deficiency and other nutritional deficiencies can also lead to this.

I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any more questions I will be available to answer them.

Regards.
