Question : with the slightest movement, I begin sweating profusely. I am 68 and taking anti-depressant for hot flashes, plus I am diabetic - What is causing this? I can dust, or clean in air-conditioning and still get wet from perspiring.

It looks like it's due to Postmenopause. Other possibilities such as weakness of muscles and nerves due to diabetes and Venlafaxine (effexor) may also be the cause of sweating. I would like to ordersome labs that have become very important for you:
CBC with ESR
Complete Thyroid Profile
HbA1c
Complete Urine analysis
Renal function tests
