What is the meaning of- prominence of the nasopharyngeal soft tissue most likely lymphoid in nature, involving the region of the tonsils and adenoids

This is a radiological finding.
In simple terms this means swelling of the area behind the throat between the nose and mouth.

The reason of the swelling may be anything like cold, allergies, irritation etc..

Hello,

Nasopharyngeal carcinoma is one condition which can present like this. Not to scare you but the incident is more in the third and fourth decade of life.

We need more confirmatory tests to come to a conclusion.

The radiological finding alone in your case is inconclusive of any malignant condition.
