default
Posted on Mon, 11 May 2015
Question: About 2 to 3 weeks ago my urine had a globule in it that encapsilated red. Today the same thing happened. My urine is otherwise quite clear. I am very active. I spend at least 3 hrs at the gym daily. I lift weights.
Any ideas on this?

Brief Answer:
Possible bleeding from urinary tract;urine analysis advised...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

The globule you noticed in your urine that was encapsulated red is indicative for possible blood clot.

Small urinary stones are also suspected; but you are not reporting any pain, difficulty or discomfort when passing the urine.

You are only reporting to be very active. Actually, if you do lift weights, it is causing an extra work to your body muscles and can cause bleeding from urinary tract.

I advise to stop lifting weights for a few days and avoid excessive physical activity.
Take more rest and drink more water.

You can take an urine analysis for a further evaluation.

Hope it was of help!
