Consult Gynecologist/ Surgeon
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to healthcare magic. I am Dr Ramadevi Wani. I will be answering your concerns today.
There are several reasons for abdominal cramps in your age group:
1. Kidney stones
2. adhesions due to previous surgery
3. Fibroid uterus ( smooth muscle growth from uterine wall)
4. Endometriosis ( condition where lining of uterus is found outside uterus, eg: on ovary , abdominal wall etc) if you are taking hormone replacement therapy
5. Intestinal conditions like irritable bowel syndrome etc
5. Rarely due to ovarian or uterine cancer - In this case there is weight loss, loss of appetite etc
So please consult Gynecologist/ surgeon at the earliest for examination. They may advise you to do ultrasound, CT/ MRI etc
I hope this is useful.
If you have further concerns, do write to me.
Regards,
Dr Rama
