What Does Shaking And Trembling Of The Body Indicate?

Posted on Fri, 1 May 2015
Question: Hello, Doctor Rynne. I'm getting the shakes-trembling. I went to the hospital emergency room for this once before. I thought my sugar was low, even though I'm not diabetic. They said it was caused by anxiety. I'm having this problem right now as I'm typing. I took a small dose of Klonopin and ate some grapes. I'm starting to feel a little better. But I don't know which one of them has helped me. I would also like to mention that I have sleep-apnia (sorry for the bad spelling!). Could you please help me?

Brief Answer:
Anxiety to be treated with cognitive behavioral therapy

Detailed Answer:
Dear patient,

i have to assume that my colleagues in the hospital are correct about their diagnose/ assumption of anxiety issues in your case. Feel free to let me know if there were any examinations done to rule out other causes. I am assuming your blood sugar was measured normal.

Klonopin is very effective in short term tranquillizing, but in the long run there is high potential of addiction. The best teatment of anxiety therefor would be cognitive behaviotal therapy through psychotherapy.

Hope this is helping you , if you have any clarificatons you can get back to me, if this was helpful please kindly rate my answer. Best regards
