Brief Answer:
Mild intestinal infection can be the case.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Such pain can be caused by some mild intestinal infection (so called food poisoning). Due to bad bacteria presence in the digestive tract you may get symptoms just like described by you. It does not seem to be serious.

I suggest you to start with probiotic intake and watch your diet. Please avoid fatty foods, soft drinks, alcohol. Add some fiber to your diet to normalize stools.
If this wont help in a week or so, please consult your doctor and have abdominal ultrasound, blood work and urine analysis at first.

Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.

Could trapped wind be the cause of it two ?

Answered by Dr. Grzegorz Stanko (1 hour later)
Brief Answer:
Trapped wind seems less probable.

Detailed Answer:
Well, trapped wind is a sign of bowels obstruction. It gives cramps, nausea, vomiting, bloating. The symptoms do recur. And the pain is quite strong.
Yours symptoms do not seem to be caused by an obstruction.
