Question : I have pain in my testicle that shoots up into my stomach. Feels like I have been hit or grazed. The pain is not excruciating but uncomfortable. No swelling is noticed and no noticeable blood in the urine.

Brief Answer:

Since when is this present?

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Please give additional information for me to assist you better:
Since when is the pain present?

Such pain is indicative of one of the following:

-Testicular torsion.
-Epididymo-orchitis.
-A hernia.

Hence it is very important to go for colour Doppler examination of the scrotum, ultrasonography of abdomen for the genito-urinary system, and tests of blood, urine.

This will give the best possible differential diagnosis which is very important for specific treatment. Till then give scrotal support. Can take a painkiller like Ibuprofen if it suits you.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
