Brief Answer:
Breakthrough Bleed / Infection / Menses

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. Unprotected sex followed by an unexpected spotting or bleed could be attributed to either emergency contraception . Those pills have progesterones in it and that causes this breakthrough bleeding.

other possibilities are of genital tract infections like vaginitis, cervicitis etc. Genital swabs and prescription of some antibiotics and coital and toilet habits rehabilitation would suffice.

if you were near menses this could be early periods as the cycle can vary from 21 to 35 days in normal menstrual period.

One thing is sure, its not pregnancy. Talk to your gynecologist if you need further clarification, they will run some tests to rule out infection causes or any other local pathology.

I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and don't forget to close the discussion please.
