Hi and welcome to HCM

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the query.
We can consider this as early stage of ovarian cancer so this is good sign. Stage 1c means that cancer was found on both your ovaries and cacner cells are found in intraabdominal fluid, but cancer hasnt not spread to surrounding organs so basically it is removed from your organism by hysterectomy and prognosis is very good. However, stage 1c is controversial when talking about necessity of postoperative chemotherapy. Some doctors recommends this, other dont. There is evidence that chemoth will improve prognosis and prevent relaps so you should consult your oncologist about this option. All in all, bad news are that this was maligannt tumor, but good news are that it was found in its early stage which is rarely seen. Wish you good health. Feel free to ask. Regards
