Question : Hi I am 16 weeks pregnant and today from morning I am getting sudden pain in the left side on my tummy which comes and goes pain stays for 5 to 10 seconds but it repeats often and I am worried as why this is is it serious and should I go to my doctor

A pain on the left side of abdomen that is intermittent can be due to an intestinal colic or related to mild uterine contractions. Such minor pain usually subsides with rest and taking a light and easy to digest food.
