Question : Recently visited E.R.
I cleared with a Normal Sinus rhythm. They said I was good. However the EKG says " "possible interior infarction" What do you think my prognosis is? Good or..... My blood work was good they said. Nothing leaking in chest.
I experienced mild cheat discomfort. I live in XXXXXXX and it's currently winter. Also, Chest xray said I was good. Please advise????

Brief Answer:
Stress thallium to be done!

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Firstly thanks for choosing health care magic for your query,

ECG is to be interpreted by the doctors, most of the time interpretation of ECG by machine is artifact. As the doctor in the E.R said that your ECG was normal and you were in sinus rhythm; You are clear from cardiac side. However if you want to be dead sure that you don't have any cardiac problem, I would suggest you to go for a test called stress thallium.

Sensitivity rate of stress thallium in ruling out cardiac disease is 97%, so if it's normal then you need not to worry.

You have not attached your ECG here, if possible please attach a photo copy of your ECG so that I can take a closer look at it !

As of now from your history your prognosis is perfect ,most likely the pain was because of gastritis, heart burn , anxiety , acid peptic disorder or muscular in nature.

Please do mention if you have any of these problems

Your blood enzymes were also normal , again it rules out the possibility of a cardiac event.

So right now, my advice is don't worry, from your history most likely its not a cardiac event, for surety mail me the ECG photos and get a stress thallium done!

Winter or summer in practical has nothing to do with your problem.
In case you have more queries , feel free to ask!
I would like to see your EKG, so please do attach it with reply! You can simply attach/upload them at the reports section.

Thank you
