I have pernicious anemia , but i have been on shots once a month for 8 years and take folbic every day. what else could be the reason they think i need to talk with a Neurologist?
Brief Answer:
Consult a neurologist
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
The other probable reasons are mentioned earlier.
You can visit a neurologist who can clinically examine you and do a XXXXXXX mental status examination for any cognitive impairment screening.
The need to get tests may be decided later on.
Possibly there is nothing serious with MRI findings and may be only age related atrophy.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
