Question : Hello . just got ct abdomen done for my dad. Need to know about the result in detail for a result. Thank you

I've gone through your query and understand your concern,
CT report suggests presence of small simple cysts in liver and kidney.Generally simple cysts only require follow up.
It is generally age related finding.
Atherosclerotic changes in aorta are due to chronic hypertension,dyslipidemia etc.
Mild peri-nephric stranding and small para aortic lymph nodes are not concerning.
Small inguinal hernia need surgical evaluation.It may require surgical correction.
In short,findings are not serious.

Thank you for your detailed answer. The reason we went through with CT abdomen was that my CEA level was 7.5. Do you think colonoscopy is required after this report. Also can you tell me what will the doctors find after doing colonoscopy.
