Question : today my wife went for ultra sound study of abdomen with ct screening. The consultant radiologist
impressed "mild hepatomegaly with fatty changes"--is this injurious to liver?

mild hepatomegaly and fatty changes are not indicative of serious liver damage, however it does indicate that there are factors causing changes in liver tissue.
In order to know the extent of threat this finding of liver will cause to you, I need to know why you were suggested to undergo the above mentioned investigations.
