placenta is fundo-anterior in position. Maturity on grannum's scale is grade 2.
No subchorionic or retro-placentral haemorrhage seen.
i have google and got to realise that the placenta has got the maturity too early ie. in 17week! however this maturity comes only after 24week pregnancy. i want to know whether i will have any complication? what precausion should i take? will this cause harm to my babyany i do something from stopping early ageing of the placenta ?
No drug to stop placental aging.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Thanks for trusting hcm about your health care.
I have gone through your history and understand your concerns.
It is true that grade 2 maturity is usually seen after 20th weeks but it is actually a subjective finding and can vary from person to person, so repeat ultrasound is advised.
There is no medications which can prevent ageing of placenta but you can give her healthy and appropriate diet, drink a lot of water (clean), blood pressure and sugar monitoring, avoid stress, high protein diet.
If your baby growth is normal and you are not having any problems there is no need to worry.
Hope found useful, feel free to ask more information.
Good luck.
Regards

Rest of the report shows all baby organs normal and functioning properly. baby weight 220 gms. However i sometime get sharp pain in the left abdomen.
Repeat ultrasound after 2 weeks.
