Brief Answer:
Blood reports suggestive of normocytic normochromic anemia & raised white cells

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.
The interpretation of your blood report is as follows:
The hemoglobin (Hb), hematocrit (HCT) and red blood cell count are low.
Low level of hemoglobin and hematocrit suggest anemia.
The red cell indices- MCV, MCH and MCHC are done to determine the type of anemia.
The red cell indices- MCV, MCH and MCHC are within normal range thus indicating that red blood cells are of normal size and have normal chromia.
Thus, the type of anemia is Normocytic Normochromic anemia.
The probably cause of anemia is low red blood cell count.
The total white blood cell count is raised.
Raised white blood cell count is seen in infections or leukemias.
However, differential white blood cell count is required to know the cell which is increased and thus the cause of increased white blood cell count.
Kindly, post the differential white cell count for further information.
The platelet count is within normal limits.

Thanks

Brief Answer:
Differential count shows increased neutrophils- bacterial infection

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome again,
Thanks for posting your differential white blood cell count.
The report shows increased number of neutrophils.
Neutrophils are increased in bacterial infections like urinary tract infection, meningitis, cholingitis, pneumonia, osteomyelitis, appendicitis, salpingitis, etc.
Thus, you need to consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment and to look for focus of bacterial infection in body.

If you any more queries, I will be glad to answer.
Thanks and take care

Would the following urinalysis report correlate with the previous hematology reports In any way? What kind of strep is this, is it permanent, something that can be treated, and if so- with what specifically? What are the effects if untreated specifically during pregnancy? Lastly, if bacterial vaginosis is present; would this create the urine culture to grow staph or are the two completely unrelated? Thank you for your time, consideration, concerns and any suggestions you may have based on my questions!

Lastly- interpretation of these attached labs. Do you have suggestions for a f/u lab test appt? Chem panel, CBC (w/or w/o diff), TSH? Thanks again!

Brief Answer:
UTI is the cause of raised white blood cells & neutrophils.Tt requir

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome again,
The urine culture is showing presence of growth of staphylococcus epidermidis bacteria, thus there is presence of urinary tract infection (UTI).
UTI by Staphylococcus epidermidis is quite common.
UTI explains raised total leukocyte count and raised neutrophils on peripheral blood.
Drug sensitivity is also required to identify the most appropriate antibiotic effective against the bacteria.
The treatment of UTI is essential especially during pregnancy.
If not treated well in time, it can lead to complications during pregnancy like pre-term labor, infection reaching up to the gestational sac or membranes etc.
All these complication can lead to pregnancy loss also thus it is important to treat the infection.
However, you need to consult your obstetrician for selection of antibiotic safe during pregnancy.
Bacterial vaginosis is not likely to cause UTI because bacterial vaginosis is not caused by Staphylococcus bacteria.

Thus, appropriate antibiotic safe during pregnancy is required for treatment of UTI.

Regarding you other laboratory reports, following interpretations can be made:
!. The electrolytes show low level of potassium. Low potassium can occur in cases of vomiting, diarrhoea etc
2. The fasting glucose level is raised. You need to consult your physician regarding glucose tolerance test and fasting as well as post-prandial blood glucose llevel.
3. The renal function tests- BUN, creatinine, BUN/creatinine ratio and anion gap are all on lower side. This has to be correlated clinically.
4. The level of calcium is low. This indicated calcium deficiency in body.
5. Protein S activity is low. Low protein activity raises the possibility of clotting disorders in body.

I cannot see TSH report. Also please elaborate on this part 'Do you have suggestion for f/u lab test appt?'. It isn't very clear to me what you meant by that?

Thanks and take care
