Brief Answer:
In electrophoresis AA2 pattern is not suggestive of Thalassemia

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for choosing this platform

I have gone through the query and found that your daughter is suffering from cough with borderline hemoglobin, normal WBC count, almost normal c reactive protein and IgE level within range.
I would like to know that why electrophoresis was advised in your case. Also please provide the details if any other significant problem is there.
Now coming to your question regarding the electrophoresis the AA2 pattern is considered to be normal. A2 value of less than 3.5 is normal and in thalassemia the predominant hemoglobin is HbF.
So don't get worried as apart from borderline hemoglobin value all other parameters are normal.

I hope this helps.
Please let me know if you have any more query.
Regards
