Question : I got my blood exams results a week ago :
AST 86
ALAT 107
Gamma-GT 33
Total Bilirubin 14 umol/l
AST and ALAT are high and the doctor recommended me to stop eating too much fat and start with the gym (no blood exams for fat were done).
Five days ago I noticed that my urine started to produce a certain type foam when it hit the water (it was never like that).
Are these symptoms correlated somehow ?
I am 27 years old, I don't smoke and I only drink alcohol 2~4 times a month. I am 175 cm and weight 92 kilos.
Thanks

Get Investigated.

Dear Friend.
Welcome To HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney.
I understand your concern.
Very important here is to rule out the cause of derangement of your liver functions.
It's not that you can be ignore them thinking that you have them deranged because of fat.
This much rise is significant.
You need to get investigated particularly for Hepatitis B and C.
Get following immediately:
1. HbsAg for Hepatitis B
2. Anti HCV Antibody for Hepatitis C.
3. Ultrasound Abdomen.
You have to get these tests done without a second opinion.
If you have any further query, please ask me.

Get an Ultrasound Abdomen.
Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
This is a great news that you have been found negative for Hepatitis B and C.
Now, get your Ultrasound Abdomen, Fasting Blood Sugar, Serum Albumin and Globulin (As a part of LFT), thyroid profile.
If there is any evidence of any derangement there, we will work for Autoimmune Hepatitis.
If everything is normal, take Ursedeoxycholic acid tablets for a few months. Stop consuming alcohol. Exercise regularly.
Review with reports.
