What does a lab result of ANA titer >1:160
indicate?
                                    Brief Answer:
Positive for ANA
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query
I understand your concern, positive ANA can be found in the following cases
1. Rheumatoid arthritis
2. Scleroderms
3. Systemic Lupus
4. Mixed connective tissue disorder
5. Polymyositis, etc
It will not be positive in Fibromyalgia.
The next step is to get an ANA profile to know what cateory of autoimmune disease you fall under, by the given history it will most likely to be RA
I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me
Regards
