                                            Question : My husband's memory test result says that he has mild AD/cognitive Impairment
stage 4 according Dr. XXXXXXX Reisburg's Seven stage frame work. I like to know that
is there any good medication to help or to deter the cognitive degeneration process if we can see any Neurologist specialized in AD?

There is no cure as such for Cognitive Impairment seen in Alzheimer's disease.
However, Donepezil (Choline esterase inhibitor) and Memantine (which blocks NMDA receptors in the brain) have shown to prevent progression of Cognitive impairment.
Supportive therapy and Occupational therapy help daily living more easier in patients with Alzheimer's.
Please be advised to follow up with a neurologist for appropriate management.
