What Does The Following Semen Analysis Report Indicate?
Question: Hi I did semen analysis
Volume: 1.5 ml
Colour: greyish white
Reaction: alkaline
Viscosity: normal
Liquefaction time : 20 min
Fructose: present
Total sperm count : 25 million/ml
Agglutination: absent
Progressive method: 50%
Non progressive method: 20%
Non motile: 30%
Normal forms: 75%
Abnormal forms: 25%
Pus cells: loaded/hpf
Epithelial cells: nil
Spermatogenic cells: nil
Rbc: nil
Normospermia with infection
Motility: the lower reference limit for total motility (progressive+non progressive) is 40%
Morphology: the lower reference limit for normal forms is 4%
Above are my results, could you please help me, is there any problem or not? I'm fit for marriage or not. Request you to suggest.

1) Your semen analysis is good except pus cells (leucocytes) are loaded which could be suggestive of infection.
2) All parameters including sperm count 25 million (normally 15 to 200 million), motility about 70 % (normally it should be above 50%) and morphology is 75% (normally it should be above 50%) are good and no need to worry much.
3) You should see an urologist who specializes in male fertility.
You will require an examination, semen culture and probably a course of antibiotics.After the complete course of appropriate antibiotics,your infection will be cured then there won't be any cause of concern.
