Prolonged liquefaction time in one semen analysis is not of much importance.
Was there 3to 5 days of abstinence before analysis?
usually in next analysis it can be normal.But he needs an andrology or urology consultation to rule out any infection in his genital system.In that case correcting that will improve liquefaction.
Other parameters like motility ,morphology and total count is more important .
