Question : Hello Dr. My stool analysis shows Mucus present and pus cells 2-4/HPF,Calprotectin in stool 405.6 Creatinine 1.3mg, and SGPT 75 U/L.
My doctor suggests that this maybe due to stomach ulcers, and has recomended to take a colonoscopy. I have no bloody stools, except occasion diarrhea and regular gastro esophageal reflux. Currently I am prescribed ESOMEPRAZOLE 40mg tablet and I also had a sudden onset of hypertension a week ago which is now being controlled with Candesartan 16 mg.
Based on these what do you suggest my condition be?
