Brief Answer:
Prediabetes, continue lifestyle modification

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX

Welcome to HCM. I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.

You are having pre- diabetes. Your fasting and after food glucose levels are normal, but HbA1c ( 3 months average blood glucose) is slightly high. Normal HbA1c is less than 5.6 %. Value between 5.7 and 6.4 is pre diabetes and above 6.5 is diabetes.

So your sugars ( HbA1c) are slightly high and you are at risk of developing diabetes. You just need lifestyle modifications now - diet 3 major meals and 3-4 snack: low in calorie and high in fiber; 30 minutes of regular aerobic exercise a day.

We can monitor HbA1c, FBS and PPBS every 6 months; see if it is coming down. If the levels are going up, it's better to start on anti diabetes drugs.

Hope I have answered your questions. If you have any further queries I will be happy to help you.

Regards,
