Question : Hiii, this is XXXX,,
I have done Thyroid function test for my wife .
I want to know about the below report , whether need to any treatment .
Total Triodothyronine(T3) Serum By CLIA result (1.43) reference interval 0.0-1.81
Total Thyroxine (T4) Serum by CLIA result (9.31) reference interval 4.5-10.90
Tyroid stimulation hormone result(1.98) reference interval 0.55-4.78
Now my question is , although all in its normal condition , total thyroxine is slightly near to the upper level ,so shall I need any treatment or any diet routine or what type of food need to avoid or what type of food should to take or what not .
Also another thing it will be any affect for pregnancy or trouble to conceive for baby .
Please clarify ….waiting for your prompt replay .

Brief Answer:
Normal thyroid
Detailed Answer:
Your wife's thyroid lab test results are within normal limits.
There is nothing to be done about it. Even though the Total T4 is closer to the upper limit of normal, it is extremely unlikely there is anything wrong with these lab results.
So one should not expect any problems with conceiving or pregnancy as far as the thyroid is concerned
