Brief Answer:
Presence of erythrocytes in urine can be due to trauma

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for positing your query on HealthcareMagic.
A urinalysis is done to look for any evidence of infection, disease in kidney or any malignancy.
All parameters within normal range suggests that there is no abnormality.
Erythrocytes are red blood cells and their presence in urine suggests trauma in urinary tract, problem in kidney etc.
However, erythrocytes cannot be measures, they can be quantified only.
Please upload the urine analysis report for interpretation in a better way.

Thanks and take care

How is it within normal range if there are erythrocytes present?

So 0.3 mg/L of erythrocytes in urine doesn't mean I might have bladder cancer ? Everything online says this is the first symptom.

Brief Answer:
Few erythrocytes do not indicate any disease state.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome again,

Few erythrocytes do not indicate any disease state. There is nothing to worry.

However, if the number is high, it may be due to trauma to urinary tract or some kidney disease.

Thanks and take care

Brief Answer:
Age and absence of clinical features of malignancy rule out malignancy mostly

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome again,

In my opinion, bladder cancer is very rare at the age of 21, and without any clinical features suggestive of malignancy, it's mostly ruled out, so don't worry.

Thanks and take care
