Posted on Fri, 24 Oct 2014
Question: Hello. Attached is the MRI report my wife received today on her knee. It contains a host of issues, and she would like to know which are the most serious issues to be addressed, and whether it is likely that surgery would be necessary since it would presumably be likely that the situation will worsen as she ages. Please see attached report. Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Surgery might required

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for your query.

I have gone through the report attached. Most serious issue to be addressed are Patellar track abnormality and patellar instability. If the pain and symptoms persist even after physical therapy, surgery might required to correct the patellar instability and abnormal tracking.

I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.

Take care

Thank you, Dr. XXXXXXX Do you think she should pursue assistance with a chiropractor rather than simply physiotherapy to alleviate the instability and abnormality?
