That i know what this score tell about cirrhosis. What is the fibroscan score ?
Brief Answer:
fibroscan score is 75
Detailed Answer:
Welcome back. Fibroscan score is 75kpa which suggest there is cirrhosis.
If there is no complication like hepatic encephalopathy (altered sensorium or behaviour), gastrointestinal bleed, ascites (fluid in abdomen), then it is compensated and if any of these is there then it is decompensated.
I will discuss the further management in brief.
See for the cause of cirrhosis, like alcohol intake hepatitis B/C or autoimmune disease. You will have to keep in mind that cirrhosis is irreversible, however if the cause is found further progression can be halted or at least delayed. So go for these test , avoid alcohol if you take. Hepatitis B/C and autoimmune are treatable causes so that they can be treated accordingly. If all these are negative then, it is to be managed symptomatically only.
However if it already decompensated and liver function tests (Bilirubin, albumin, INR, creatinine) are not good then it is an indication for liver trans plant and you should meet a Liver transplant doctor.
So for further evaluation visit a Hepatologist for above mentioned tests and for further management accordingly.
I hope I have answered your query. Take care bye

Brief Answer:
Suggest you have compensated cirrhosis
Detailed Answer:
Welcome back. Sorry for delay
Suggest that you have compensated cirrhosis.
I will now suggest you to go for evaluation for the cause of cirrhosis by going some blood tests like HBsAg (for Hepatitis B), Anti HCV ab (for HCV), ANA, SMA (For autoimmune liver disease), endoscopy examination to see for variceal status. Yes if alcohol then avoid it
After finding the cause of cirrhosis it should be managed accordingly. However in 40% there may not be any cause also.
Meanwhile take tablet ursodeoxycholic acid (Udiliv) 300 mg twice a day and Tablet Heptral 400mg (Sadenosyl methionine) thrice a day. Both these medicines are hepatoprotective and do reduce inflammation in liver
Wish you a good health
