Brief Answer:
you maybe having familial hematuria; proctoscopy/colonoscopy maybe done.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to HCM. urinalysis showing rbc's is blood in urine. as you say that your mother and sisters' have microscopic hematuria, it's familial hematuria.you don't have to worry about it, but certain tests will be needed.Hb,CBC,s.creatinine, urea, BT,CT,PT,INR,patelets, blood sugar.and an ultrasound of abdomen and pelvis. depending on the reports ,your urologists will advise treatment after examining you.
occult blood in stool +2, calls for examination by a surgeon/ gastro-enterologist. he/she will advice the same blood tests as written above. you will then be advised if you need a proctoscopy or colonoscopy. treatment will depend on the reports.

The cbc was done the all came back fine, cmp, serum or plasma was done, glucose came back at 110. Creatinine was 1.1 in range. Everything else was in range. When I mentioned occult blood plus 2 this was part of the urinalysis testing not a stool sample.

Brief Answer:
Your urologist may advice ultrasound abdomen.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again,

If all the reports are normal as you say, then little cause for worry. An ultrasound of abdomen is advisable though. You can discuss about getting ultrasound scan with the treating doctor. Based on scan report, will decide if a CT scan with contrast is needed.

I am not concerned at this point of time. But I would wish to review scan reports as well.

If you have any other doubts, you can contact me. wish you a speedy recovery.
