Brief Answer:
Likely to be infective diarrhoea

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Namasthe
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Dear Mr XXXXXXX

The stool report is suggestive of infective diarrhea . Occult blood in stools could be due to infective diarrhea or could be allergy to feeds( formula feeds).

I would require additional information

1. Is the XXXXXXX still having loose motion? What is the frequency?
2. Is she accepting feeds well?
3. Is the urine output adequate?
4. What is the color of stools?
5. Is baby on exclusive breast feeding or formula feeds are also given?

Do get back to me

Take Care

Brief Answer:
The baby is fine

Detailed Answer:

Dear Mr XXXXXXX
There is nothing to worry the baby is doing fine.
If the baby is accepting feeds well, urine output is adequate then there seems to be no cause for concern.
Greenish stools and blood in stools is likely to be due to allergy to formula feeds.
I would advise you to follow exclusive breast feeding till 6 months of age. Formula feeds are to be condemned . It causes allergy and may also act as source of infection.
Majority of loose motion in children are caused by virus and are self limiting.

Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Take Care

Regards
Deepak
