Question : Hi my wife is currenrly on 75mcg of thyroxin. Please advise on the basis of new blood report if any dosage alteration would be requiredThe report values are
T3 total 1ng/ml
T4 total 8.60 ng/ml
TSH 6.42 ulu/ml
T3 total 1ng/ml

As per repots in Aug 15, T3 116.13 ng/dl, T4 9.7 ug/dl, TSH 3rd generation 0.367 uiu/ml

Continue the same dosage at present.

You have not provided the details asked that how much medicine was she taking previously.
As I can assess the reports it seems that earlier she was on higher doses which made her TSH low and so she was shifted to lower doses. In such case as per her current reports I would recommend the same dosage of 75 micrograms to be continued.
