Brief Answer:
You may require repeat scan.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for writing to us about it.

NT (nuchal transulancy) is the fluid found behind the baby's head and neck beneath the skin. It can be found out in NT Scan performed between 11.5-13 weeks 6 days pregnant women.

It is a type of first trimester screening test. It is not a diagnostic examination.

The thickness of fluid measure precisely because if it is increased then the risk of chromosomal abnormalities may increase in your baby (mainly down syndrome).

In your case it is not seen properly, you can run for a repeat scan to measure the nuchal translucency because sometimes it is difficult to measure it first time due to baby position.

Hope I have answered your query if you have further questions I will be happy to assist you.

Good luck.
Regards

Brief Answer:
Yes! It is very helpful.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Nice to hear from you all again.

No issue! You can go for third level ultrasonography, it is a detailed ultrasound in which every single detailed of the baby can be found out.

It is a much more informative test rather than NT, it may rule out other congenital abnormalities as well.

Hope it is useful, feel free to discuss more.

Good luck for your future development.

Enjoy your happy and safe motherhood.

Thanks
