Brief Answer:
It is not Urinary tract infection

Detailed Answer:
Hi....I have gone thorough your son's reports. Do not worry...it is not Urinary Tract Infection (UTI).
12 years old male child with pain abdomen could be a non organic or functional pain abdomen. That at 12 years UTI is highly unlikely.

Regarding the report - You can ignore the report completely as the organism which is grown is a normal commensal of the skin...that is...it is normally found on the skin. The technique of collection of urine for the culture should have been improper and hence, this report.
Without symptoms of fever and burning during urination, it is not UTI.

Moreover the urine is not showing too many pus cells.

Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish your kid good health.

Thanks so much Doctor, but what about the colony count of >100,000cfu/ml in the report?
What does it mean?

Brief Answer:
It doesn't mean anything please

Detailed Answer:
Hi...thanks for the trust in me. When the organism is the one which is a commensal, that is which is not a dangerous organism, then whatever be the colony count it is insignificant. In culture reports usually they give colony counts because, even if it is a dangerous disease causing organism, even then the colony count of more than 1,00,000 only is significant.
But in this case this colony count doesn't mean anything.
