Brief Answer:
MR means mitral regurgitation & PAH mean pulmonary artery hypertension

Detailed Answer:
Hello

MR stands for mitral regurgitation,TR stands for tricuspid regurgitation and PAH stands for pulmonary artery hypertension.
Mitral regurgitation is leakage of blood backwards through mitral valve each time left ventricle contracts.
TR is tricuspid regurgitation and it is leakage of blood backwards through tricuspid valve each time right ventricle contracts.
Generally grade I MR and TR have excellent survival.

PAH affects arteries in the lungs and right side of heart. It is a type of high blood pressure.Pulmonary arteries carry blood from heart to lungs, where it picks up oxygen to be delivered throughout our body.In PAH,the pulmonary arteries constrict abnormally. This causes heart to work faster and causes blood pressure within the lungs to rise.
It may be due to many causes and generally mild PAH is a manageable condition.
