Question: Hi Doctor,

Good morning hope you are doing great.
What does this echo report show?
I had written to you recently and I guess you replied to it but I am unable to see it.
Just let me know how I can see it.
I think I wrongly wrote it in reviews.

Thank You

Regards

Brief Answer:
He seems to be on the path of recovery, optimisation of medicine

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Happy to know about the echo report .
When the dimensions of Lv are decreasing it implies that we have objective evidence that there is improvement in overall LV function.

Now three group of medication are of utmost importance in reversal .
Beta blockers - carvedilol
ace inhibitor / arb - ramipril
aldosterone antagonist - spironolactone / eplerenone (planep).
Sos diuretic to decrease load on heart.
There is enough evidence that they decrease remodeling and fibrosis.

So optimisation of the meds to maximum tolerable dose is required .

Carnitor / omega 3 fatty acids are supplement ls , they don't have any side effects and as at that point of time we were is dire situation, anything that helps him was my motto , however you may stop it as there is no harm in doing so . Also XXXXXXX cardiologist may not believe into adding to extra pill burden , which I agree too .

As I have said it's a slow process and we have to maintain trust in God .

Do forward me the present medication list with dosage, so I can help with the same .

I had read the notes in review , but according to the rules of the site, I can't reply to the same .

Regards Dr Priyank Mody
