Brief Answer:
Normal ECG, nothing to worry

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,

All data are normal.
The only thing that machine found like "not normal" is incomplete right bundle branch block. But it is not an abnormality, it is found quite often in healthy adults and considered as a normal. And you should know that automatic generated conclusion of ECG machine is not always correct
So, nothing to worry. You have absolutely normal ECG.

Wishing you good health

Does it say I have Angina or some thing? I had some chest discomforts and doctor said it could be heartburn as I felt it after dinner sometimes and it got relieved when I had hot water or caffeine free green tea, and burps.

Secondly when I exercise I felt fullness, but no pain and I could push harder as well, and and it is only once in a while(if I am running or brisk walking in cold) and sometimes there is no discomfort how hard I workout. is it Angina? Doctor recommended a stress test and it is scheduled for April 6th.

Today I had a run and heart rate went up to 140, not sure what causes the full XXXXXXX :(

Brief Answer:
Welcome back

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,

From your complaints neither chest discomfort which get relieved from hot water or green tea, nor fullness during exercise are typical for angina. They could indicate digestive or gastric problems.
And heart rate of 140 bpm after running is not abnormal, in young adults, it can reach to 170 bpm during extensive run.
And I think that your physician ordered stress test just to be in the safe side.
So don't worry, nothing serious.

Take care

Hi,

You can feel angina as a discomfort or tightness in the chest during physical activity. It relieved with stopping the activity or with nitroglycerin but never with water.

I have high cholesterol and when I tested in December it was 244 . Which is
Triglycerides     243 mg/dL     <150 mg/dL     H
HDL Cholesterol     41 mg/dL     >40 mg/dL
LDL Cholesterol     154 mg/dL     <130 mg/dL     H

in 2014
Cholesterol - 214
HDL - 46
LDL - 146
Triglycerides - 110

Secondly I had thyroid infection couple of years ago, and this time when I checked it,
TSH     6.15 uIU/mL and in 2014 it was 2.44.

So doc asked me to do, Free T4 and it
T4 Free     1.03 ng/dL

So I have to check it in couple of months.

Secondly I am not sure if the pain with Angina will go in few seconds if I slow down as I run. I am not sure what causes the stuffiness, and may be it is going away soon as I rest for seconds or slowdown my pace. But as I mentioned I didn't experienced the pain while exercising everyday even if I push, does it matter the cold weather?

Anything I have to worry? Any tests I need to take ? I have the stress test due on April 6th, I am still exercising, hope I will not make anything worse or I have something to worry :(

Brief Answer:
No need to be concerned

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,

Don't worry so much.
Exercise and live with your routine life, there is no need for any restriction.
Just wait until your appointment for stress test. It should be normal, as your complaints are not typical.
For the cholesterol level, you should have a proper diet: restrict the amount of animal fat for LDL and carbohydrates for triglycerides. You should lose weight if you are overweight.

Take care

I am a vegetarian, I am not sure what caused the spike in Triglycerides or LDL. I was less frequently exercising in the past and consumed lot white rice. May be that resulted in the Triglycerides.

I am exercising or started to exercise now for last 2 weeks, and felt the symptoms of the pain etc. I am 168 lbs and I am 6 footer so I am around my normal weight.

I don't know what diet I should follow.

My resting heart rate ( i track it with Fitbit - its between 55 -65 when I am asleep)

Please don't address me Sir - as you are a doctor and I have lot of respect for you.

Detailed Answer:
Your weight is normal.
Only cut the amount of sweets and soda. If you eat junk food, avoid it, triglycerides level will decrease gradually with exercise, nothing to worry.

Do an activity which doesn't cause any discomfort.
Don't worry, just wait until your stress test.

Hi Doc,

This morning while i was getting into office, I took stairs (3 floors) and I felt heaviness below throat as I was just running up - imitating the stress test. I felt weak as my legs and all, but had a heavy laptop bag on my back.

So I went and sat at my desk and then after few minutes, I walked downstairs and repeated the same thing, ran/walked 4 stairs and I couldn't feel the pain, but felt some uneasiness after few minutes, but when I drank cold water I felt the path to my stomach and relieved. Can this be heart burn ? Or Angina?

I am worried more and more....

Brief Answer:
Don't worry so much

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

You are anxious and worried and can have several symptoms mimicking angina. Don't focus on heart and angina, just live your regular life.
You should know that even if you have angina (which is quite unlikely), nothing will happen with you until your stress test. People can live with angina for months and even years until they are diagnosed.
