What Does This HSG Test Result Indicate?
Question: Hi my name is XXXX I am 26 years old today I went for HSG test as per my doctors advise. This test was asked by my doctor to do since I was not able to coceive after 1 year of marriage. The HSG test result shows the following findings after injecting 20 ml of ionic contrast medium into the uterine cavity.
Please let me know the below findings is normal or abnormal whether there is any difficulty to conceive.
Findings:
Uterus Visualised.
Both tubes Visualised
Spillage - localised & delayed
? Fimbrial block
To be correlation clinical

I have gone through your hsg report and it is showing delayed and localized spillage in both tubes that means your tubes are blocked at fimbrial end.

Even there is no successful surgical procedure to open the ends.
So the best way to concieve is through IVF( in vitro fertilization), a artificial method of conception.
In this method your egg and your husband sperm fertilized artificially and than embryo implant inside the uterus.
For this you have to consult an infertility specialists and it is successful after 2-3 sitting but it is a costly procedure.
