Brief Answer:
Get consultation from neurosurgeon for meningioma removal

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
You are having right parafalcine meningioma.
Meningioma is having good prognosis after surgery as it is limited to the site and neurodeficit is usually due to compression.
Also recurrence in meningioma is uncommon until associated with some syndrome or genetic disorder.
Very rare reports of association of meningioma with pappillary carcinoma is present in literature.
Also some studies show association and appearance of meningioma inpatients treated with radio iodine for papillary thyroid carcinoma.
Consult a neurosurgeon for operative removal of meningioma.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

Is this caused from my radioactive iodine? The first time I had cancer dose was 175mch and malignant to left lymph node. Also I had vocal paralysis afterwards for a long time. I'm so tired of being sick. I have special needs kids 1 family income and the fact I can't walk or see well is hindering the fact I'm enrolled for college. I have had 3 neck fusions. 1st was anterior c6 c7. Then 5 months later needed posterior fusion w laminecomty c3 to t2. Also my neck went from a c shape to s shape. I have had 20 medically necessary surgeries for various reasons. I'm trying live a happy filled life and NO ONE IS GIVING ME ANSWERS JUST ASSUMPTIONS. PLZ HELP ME

Brief Answer:
Not proven relation between radio iodine and meningioma

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Association of meningioma due to radioactive iodine is uncommonly noticed and casual link is not proved and may be by chance also.
But the present situation needs to be operatively managed by removal of meningioma.
I am very sorry to hear about your medical suffering but life is a tough path and courage is required to move ahead.
Hope you get well soon.
Wishing you good health.
God bless you.
