Question: Dear Doctor 6months back I have severe vertigo, imbalance, weakness and vision blurr problem.MRI was done and report shows focal subcortical flair hyperintensity noted in right frontal lobe, parafalcine location with thinning of adjacent gyri- sequelae of previous insult. Prominent sulci and lateral ventricle for age.
Based on the MRI result doctor told im suffering with anxiety.I also had other symptoms like indigestion, numbness, fear of heights, fatigue, shortness of breath .I have been visited almost to all doctors like gastronaut ,opthomologist ,ENT and results found ok. I see objects are moving a side of me while walking, travelling. One opthomolgist told me that my puplis got dilated and that's the reason I see things in blurr. My neurologist has done VEP,BERAVEMP AND VIDEO EEG AND NO abnormalities noticed. He put me on with lamosyn 50mg.lonazep md0.25,prodep 20mg,multigates vit tablet and qmind sr100.With this im a bit ok but moving disturnances during walking and travelling and vision blurr remains same.Need suggestion on how to proceed further ?Is gliosis the reason for all these symptoms?what does it means.I also has pyeloplasty kidney surgery in my child hood and currently my kidney function is only 14% on left side right side is ok with 85 %.Im taking medicines from last 6 months im worried about my kidney too as I feel mild pain on left side.please suggest.

Brief Answer:
Please upload test reports

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Sir.

I understand your concern.

Your symptoms in my view are definitely not related to anxiety.

Anxiety does not present with such MRI changes.

I can guide you better if you can please upload the test reports of MRI, VEP, BERA VEMP, VIDEO EEG.

I want to go through them in detail and provide an accurate insight and guide you appropriately.

The compromised kidney function may exacerbate your symptoms, but are not directly responsible. The pain on left side need evaluation.

I would also like to know the what medications you are using for the kidney disorder.

Also please upload recent kidney test reports if any.

Post your further queries if any.
Thank you.
