Rest, ice, anti inflammatory Medicine.
Detailed Answer:
Hi there.
Welcome to Healthcare Magic.
Thanks for the query.
I have reviewed the MRI Report of your Son. It mentions that he has inflammation of the joint that connects the left hip bone to the sacral bone at the lower back.
Usually the cause its due to trauma, inflammatory disease like Ankylosing spondylitis, excessive standing on left side, running.
This could be a forerunner of possible inflammatory disease like Ankylosing spondylitis and this needs to be evaluated at regular intervals. This disease can cause stiffness of the back, neck, difficulty to bend forward.
Medication like anti inflammatory drugs can be used, for example Tablet Ibuprofen 400mg twice a day for 5 days after meals. This can cause acidity do he has to also take Tablet Ranitidine 150mg twice a day, half an hour before meals. Drink plenty of water. Avoid sitting on ground, squatting. Apply ice over the painful regions. Sometimes hot packs can offer relief if the is associated muscle tightness. Mild back stretching exercises will give relief to the back pain. Avoid bending forwards or lifting weights.
I hope I have answered your query.
I will be available to answer your follow up queries.

Hip and knee exercises. Discontinue the medicines after 7 days course
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX
I'm happy to learn that he has improved. Yes, Viral fever can sometimes cause the problems your son is facing and should be fine in a couple of weeks with rest, limb elevation and protected weight bearing. He can do hip flexion and extension as well as knee strengthening exercises and start waking as soon as he is completely comfortable. Take the medication only for 7 days.
Wishing a speedy recovery.

Dr. Aashish Raghu
