Brief Answer:
You need to give little more detail of the illness

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your MRI report. It is suggestive that there is severe nerve compression in back which is causing pain in leg. But before I advised you anything I would like to know little detail of the illness.
1.What are your clinical symptoms at present?
2.Do you have leg pain?
3.Do you have smoking habit or any other medical problem ?
Please send me answers of these questions. I will try my best to help you.
thanks

Brief Answer:
Surgery is safe if done by expert surgeon

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case. You need spine surgery as there is nerve compression present. As far as surgery is concern it is major procedure but safe when done by expert doctors. There is no need to be worried about this. So go ahead with surgery. After surgery most people able to walk from third day. forward bending and weight lifting may be restricted for some time but otherwise there will not be any other problem.
thanks
