Question : MY TSH LEVEL IS 6.3 IS IT NORMAL?
Brief Answer:
About hypothyrodism.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for asking on HCM!
The TSH level you reported is considered high for your age. (>4.2 is the upper limit). It is sugestive for underactive thyroid or hypothyroidism.
I would recommend to check FT4 and FT3 level. If they are within the normal ranges and you do not have symptoms of hypothyroidism (weight gain, constipation, hair loss, dry skin, feeling sleepy ect) or if you are planing a pregnancy you should start treatment with levothyroxine.
Will be a pleasure to help you further.
