Question: What do all these findings combine mean
1st x ray sacrum and coccyx
indication: sacral pain radiating into legs
findings:
The S1 joints are normal. There is no sacral fracture or bone destruction. Angulation occurs at the sacrococcygeal junction which appears chronic or congenital in etiology. The lower lumbar spine is normal.

impression
1. no acute findings
2.Angulated sacrococcygeal joint. Chronic finding

MRI:

L2-L3 There is a mild disc bulge. There is no facet arthropathy. There is no neural foraminal narrowing. There is mild central canal stenosis.

L3-L4 There is a mild disc bulge. There is an annular fissure. There is no facet arthropathy. There is no neural foraminal narrowing. There is mild central canal stenosis.

CT-Scan:

1. Acute sacrococcygeal angulation. This may be congenital or possibly the sequela of prior trauma.

2. L5 left hemivertebrae with pseudoarticulation formation at its articulation with the S1 vertebral body.

Brief Answer:
Findings are suggestive of mild degenerative disc of lumbo sacral spine.

Detailed Answer:
Hello

MRI findings are suggestive of mild degenerative disc of lumbo-sacral spine.
Degenerative changes occurs in spine due to aging and development of weakness in annulus fibrosis.

1.At L2-3 and L3-4 level, there is mild diffuse disc bulge with mild narrowing of central spinal canal.
2.There is also an annular fissure at L3-4 level.
It is good that there is no narrowing of lateral neural formen. There is also no compression over nerve roots.

Majority of the cases of degenerative spine disease are benefited by physiotherapy. As you have mild findings so you should try physiotherapy first.

CT scan shows acute angulation at sacrococcygeal joint. It may be present form birth or may be related to previous trauma.
You need clinical correlation for acute sacrococcygeal joint angulation. In symptomatic patients, generally it is managed conservatively. Some patient may require surgical manipulation under anesthesia.

There is also pseudoarticulation(false joint) formation between L5(left side) and S1 vertebral body. This condition is called as partial sacralization and it is termed as Bertolotti's syndrome. This condition may also cause pain.It can be managed by steroid injection, radiofrequency ablation or surgery.

Treatment can be planned after consultation with neurologist.

Brief Answer:
It doesn't necessarily mean dislocation.

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Acute angulation at sacrococcygeal joint doesn't necessarily mean dislocation.
It may present from birth. It need clinical correlation. It is also important to know history of trauma in that region.
